Counts of tickers named in events, refreshed every five minutes.

A trader's database

The news, structured.
The move, measured.

Tradabase reads market news on X as it breaks, records which US stocks it touches and which way, and then measures what those stocks actually did — one hour, one day and five days later.

How it works

From post to measured move.

One record, built in three steps. Follow a sample post through the pipeline.

  1. 01 · Read

    A post arrives.

A fixed list of financial news accounts on X, and the SEC's press releases, are checked every two minutes. Each post is kept exactly as written, with its author, time and a link to the original.

Polled every 2 min · stored unaltered

  2. 02 · Structure

    It becomes an event.

Claude reads the post and records the US-listed tickers it affects, the direction, a magnitude from 1 to 5 and the horizon. Bigger stories get a second pass for knock-on effects; chart posts get a breakdown and a critique.

    Tickers · direction · magnitude · horizon

  3. 03 · Measure

    The move is measured.

When prices are in, the move at one hour, one trading day and five trading days is attached, with a hit or miss mark on each call. Nothing is estimated, and misses stay on the record next to the hits.

    1h · 1d · 5d · prices delayed ≥ 15 min

The desk

Seven views of one record.

Every view reads from the same database, so a headline on the tape, its row in the ledger and its mark on a ticker's record always agree.

Live tape /live

Every stored post, newest first, with its analysis landing in the row the moment it is finished — beside a rail of the tickers being affected right now.

Tickers /tickers · /t/SYM

Names ranked by mentions. For any US-listed symbol, every catalyst that touched it and a direction-by-outcome matrix.

Events ledger /events

Searchable and filterable by magnitude, direction, catalyst and horizon, with 1h, 1d and 5d outcomes and marks in line.

Thesis desk /theses

Chart posts from market commentators, read honestly: what the chart shows, its strengths and weaknesses, what would invalidate it, a rigor score from 1 to 5 and the tickers implicated.

Daily brief /daily

At 10pm Eastern the day's events become one written brief. The figures are the database's; the narrative is written around them.

Watchlist /watchlist

Your names, with the latest catalyst for each. Watched tickers are marked on every surface.

Ideas /ideas

Trade ideas kept as tabs beside the record, with room to brainstorm and link the events behind them.

Standards

What the record is, and isn't.

01

Shown as posted.

Every post appears exactly as written inside the app, with its author, its time and a link to the original.

02

Measured, not estimated.

Outcomes come from market prices after the fact. Hits and misses are both kept on the record.

03

Analysis, not advice.

Tradabase records what was said and what the price did next. It never tells you what to buy or sell.

Price data is delayed at least 15 minutes. Legal and use of data
